Serving Northeast Oklahoma
Tulsa Engineering & Planning Associates, Inc. (tep) was founded in 1977 by Jerry Ledford P.E., P.L.S., CFM. Recently, tep has had a change in leadership. In June of 2018, Russell Fischer P.E., CFM, Jack Taber, and Kirk Richardson (all long time tep employees) purchased tep from Jerry Ledford, who remains a vital part of our vast wealth of knowledge and experience and valued team member to tep.
As discussions about the purchase of tep were being completed, a renewed vision began to emerge that would build on our tradition and history. We didn’t want to deviate from the core values of producing quality work with integrity and excellence, but needed to embrace new technology and methods to stay relevant in today’s market. As the purchase came to a close, the thought about the future of tep, the concept of Ideas, Design, and Success became our vision, which built on who we were, but also focused on how we want to be identified today.
tep’s experience includes over 40-years of designing hundreds of successful projects, in which we’ve taken of our clients’ vision, concepts and goals through planning, design, and construction. tep’s experience is extensive and diverse in all types of private and public development, infrastructure improvement, land use planning, civil engineering design, project management, hydrological studies and floodplain development. tep’s services extend from preliminary project budgeting and planning, through final design and construction completion.
Our staff includes civil engineering design professionals specializing in transportation, public utilities, site development and stormwater projects; a full service survey group with fully equipped field crews; construction management; land planning; and the support staff to complement the design professionals. Through the years, tep has also developed partnerships with other firms to complement our services, which may be needed on some projects.
